5 Simple Office Stretches to Maximize Efficiency

If you’re spending a minimum of 8 hours at work sitting down – that’s 40 hours in a single business week…

You may also drive to work, sit at your desk for least 6 hours at work, then drive back home, and sit down to Netflix. Yeah… not only are we wrecking our bodies, we’re putting them at health risks.

This week at work – try a few of these simple office stretches for an energetic boost to finish off the day strong!

Do this one in your chair. Stay sitting in your chair, extend your legs and reach down towards your toes.

Reach up. Raise your arms above your head, interlock your fingers and push away from yourself. A lot of us naturally do something similar to this – just not to form.

Squeeze that thang! The stress ball squeeze is a good way to improve productivity and release tension.

Chair bend. Get up – stand several feet behind the back of your chair. Raise both arms overhead and ‘hinge’ forward from your hips, keeping your back straight. Hold on to the back of the chair to keep steady for a few seconds, then rise back up to stand straight.

Spine with a little twist please? Sit with your knees in line with one another, place your left hand on your right knee and twist your entire upper body to the right, looking behind your shoulder. Hold, then twist back and repeat on the other side.

Now go on, and kick ass at whatever your about to do next!
